since ive regularly needed these reminders over the past month or so since i quit: not working is completely morally neutral. everyone deserves respect and dignity regardless of employment status. ones ability to work should not determine their worth etc etc. i love my unemployed baddies
i literally had a dream last night my dad was tryin to convince me to get a job, the rhetoric about working we all hear is so deep even my subconscious is ragging on me about it
i also want to add that this isn’t exclusive to disabled people, there’s lots of reasons why people can’t work. if you can’t work for any reason you still deserve compassion and the resources to live
i’ve been a bisexual dean truther for longer than i’ve been a bisexual, fought in the trenches in 2012 and all, but i gotta say. gay dean truthers. i get it now.
on the road, dean doesn’t seem to like women so much as he wants to playact the ideal macho unattached drifter lifestyle i.e. “i love this job, i get to have fun killing things which totally never bothers me and fuck a new hot girl every week.” but we already know by season 2 that this isn’t true and he actually hates this job. and in his fantasies, he doesn’t seem to like women so much as he wants his mom back and wants to live the stereotypical suburban dream and a woman is a part of that. if he were actually into women, i think he would have been more into jo, but he like immediately sister zones her, which is funny because she was definitely introduced just to be his love interest, but it’s like when dean is actually honest and real with women, he is not into them. it’s only when he’s playing pretend which is like 99% of the time.
